  Never ever use check smart for a pay day loan. If you default they will harass you and your references. They even leave threatening messages.

  I work at CheckSmart and just so you know, those are state requirements that determine what is needed for a loan, and one of those requirements is verifiable income, hence the name 'payday' loan. That's the government for you, not checksmart.

  I went in wanting to borrow $500 and walked out with $500 in less than 15 minutes. I was impressed with their clean neat store and the fast friendly service. I would recommend Checksmart to anyone needing a loan.

  WoW... they are horrible and disgusting... my brotherinlaw apparently used my husband as a reference (we did not know this), and he isnt paying his debt (they told me, which is not legal to disclose) and they called our home to ask us to call my brother in law and tell him to settle ...

  I'm upset with CheckSmart because I didn't get approved for their loan. I've never been turned down for a loan before IN MY LIFE......I DON'T have bad credit.....and I'm not slacker....But just because I can't work right now, and I'm not on a disability program they wouldn't approve ...

  I needed a loan, and they were able to give it to me. I didn't have to go through a lot of bs with them, it was very straight forward..."Fill out these applications, get us this information, and you will be approved." Easy as that.
