Nevada Payday Loan

Nevada is one of the few states that has legalized payday lending but does not regulate the interest rates that lenders can charge. The good news for borrowers here is that there is no maximum term for the loans. Nor are lenders in Nevada allowed to issue or provide any loans that are more than 25% of the borrower's expected monthly paycheck at the time the loan is made. This protects borrowers from assuming too much debt. While there are no state laws regulating the amount of interest payday lenders can charge borrowers there are laws in Nevada that protect borrowers from added fees that can be charged and laws that protect borrowers from harassment. If you feel that a Nevada lender has mistreated you, charged unwarranted fees or if you are being harassed by debt collectors please contact the State of Nevada Department of Financial Institutions which regulates payday lenders in the state.
